Not all hikes need to be a big up and down the mountain; sometimes it’s enough to be out on the trail, amongst the trees, and under the big blue sky. Also, not all bodies thrive in elevation gain so it’s good to have a few hikes in mind for when you’re hiking with someone who’s knees hurt, for example.
