Historic Steam-y Experiences in Colorado
You can combine multiple interests on a summer vacation by taking a ride on a historic steam engine train and then visiting a nearby hot springs pool for some soaking time.
The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad goes between Chama, New Mexico and Antonito, Colorado, with opportunities to drive to a hot springs in Pagosa Springs or Ojo Caliente. The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is close to the Durango Hot Springs.
