Early Birds Catch the Sunrise

I discovered something when researching my book, “60 Hikes Within 60 Miles of Denver and Boulder” and that is that sunrise hikes are some of the best ones. For a long time I’ve noticed that some of the most colorful sunrises in Denver were happening in November and early December. I decided to ask an expert and it’s true—there is a season for sunrises!
