Virtual Bookstore Appearances & More

This summer I’ve been fortunate enough to be invited to promote my new guidebook, “60 Hikes within 60 Miles of Denver and Boulder” as well as be mentioned in some local press about the book.

The good news with virtual “appearances” is that you never miss them! Maybe you didn’t get to ask a question in real time, but you can still watch the event, or excerpts online whenever you are able.

The Tattered Cover Bookstore event from July 23, 2020 lives on their YouTube channel here and can be viewed anytime. I had so much fun talking to Mikaley!

The Boulder Bookstore even on Aug. 25 was a real treat for me as I got to have a conversation with my fellow guidebook author, Joshua Berman. Josh recently updated, “Moon Colorado Camping: The Complete Guide to Tent and RV Camping, 6th Ed.” so we talked about hiking and camping. The bookstore will soon be posting an excerpt of our chat online.

On Sept. 17, 2020 I had an actual real live in-person book signing at Covered Treasures Bookstore in Monument. Thank you!

Again, quoted in the Longmont Leader on Sept. 24, 2020, this time on the topic of being prepared for winter conditions on the trail. Seriously, get some microspikes.

Mountain Town Magazine gave my book this sweet little mention (flip to pg. 16) in the pages of their fall issue.

Outside Online included my book on a list of “36 Awesome Gifts for Adventure Travelers” in Dec. 2020.
